STARTS AquaMotion : Ripples Between Art, Science & Society — Rethinking Water Through Creative Collaboration

How can collaborations between artists and scientists generate new ways of understanding and caring for our most vital element : water?

This panel, held in the framework of the STARTS AquaMotion project, explores the transformative potential of art–science research in addressing ecological and social challenges, while creating civic and emotional value for communities.

Moderated by Lucas Evers (Waag Futurelab), the discussion will bring together Valérie de Liedekerke (AIR-Centre), and two STARTS AquaMotion resident artists: Ioana Vreme Moser and Katharina Mischer from mischer’traxler studio. Together, they will share insights from their artistic and scientific collaborations within AquaMotion and reflect on how these encounters foster experimentation, dialogue, and social impact.
