Multiplié
La Machine
The machine is a reinvention of the “ultimate machine” invented in 1952 by Marvin Minsky (the ultimate machine is also sometimes called the “useless box”).
Some features: design by Elium Studio, inspired by Ettore Sottsass, sounds specially created by Tapetronic, thousands of different behaviors, 100% open-source architecture, the most responsible manufacturing possible, repairable, made in France…
multiplié is a creative studio designing technological objects that are imaginative, poetic, and alive. Our ambition is to re-enchant our relationship with technology and to allow everyone to live with different kinds of electronic objects that bring a touch of whimsy.
[multiplié was founded by Olivier Mével. Olivier Mével is one of the pioneers of the Internet of Things, co-founder and creator of Nabaztag. He also created one of the first French digital agencies in 1994 (BaBeL) and co-founded and ran for 10 years a design office specialized in connected objects and environments (Enero).]
