While traditional concerts often keep the audience in a passive role, my creations offer a shared and immersive musical experience.
Thanks to a residency at the Orange Fablab in Brussels, I was able to develop a series of innovative interactive tools that reinvent the relationship between musician and audience (“Faune Sonore”):
- An anemone that reacts to the shadows of spectators, modulating the volume in real time.
- Sardines with tactile electric sensors, allowing the audience to make music with a school of fish.
- An interactive coral, whose branches can be manipulated to influence the textures and sound effects of other musicians.
These devices open up a new space for musical dialogue. They break the solitude of the artist, make the creative process more open, and allow listeners to become full participants in the performance — establishing an active, sensitive, and playful relationship with their favorite artist.
