As an immersive media artist and experience designer, René van Engelenburg makes complex themes and stories surprisingly accessible and tangible. He often does this by merging the latest technology into experiences for everyone, without first having to learn how something works. This accessibility makes the work of DROPSTUFF MEDIA, founded by him and his business partner Gijs ten Cate, recognizably special. From a wondrous world called ‘Kermis op de Basis’ at Soesterberg Air Base Park, they work among the rare skylarks to foster innovation and creative disruption.
