We spend our lives inside Silicon Valley’s clocks. We inhabit its architecture of time: digital spaces where every second is bound to be extracted, optimized, and sold. This imprisoning vision of time as a resource burns us out, both individually and collectively.

Each tool we use immerses us in a unique timespace, defined by its own rules and rhythms. What if digital spaces could host different times, stranger, subjective, cyclical, playful?

In this talk, we will explore ways to restore time’s richness: sculpting it as a material to build apps that help us live at our own pace, to create objects that make memories endure, and to design interfaces rooted in natural temporal cycles.

It is our invitation to reclaim time as a creative and political playground, rather than surrendering to techno-capitalism’s infernal clock.
