Robyn Landau

Biography

Robyn Landau is a neuroaesthetics researcher, designer and cultural entrepreneur connecting art and science. As the co-founder and director of the neuroscience studio and lab Kinda, she is pioneering a new way to combine neuroscience with creative experiences to enhance the impact of art, culture and technology on human connection and wellbeing.
Rooted in the transdisciplinary process of Science-Informed Design, their studio synthesises science into ideas, experiences and curation, while their lab uses mobile brain-body technology to measure, iterate and amplify these in real-world environments.
As a bridge between academic labs and the creative sector, Kinda is pioneering how new interdisciplinary models can reshape the future of design. Spanning sonics, psychedelics, multimodal interaction and sensory perception, Robyn works with partners at the forefront of science, technology and the creative arts including Marshmallow Laser Feast, 4DSound, Nike and Tate.
